A busca pelo bem-estar aliado à produtividade, é uma tendência inevitável no arcabouço da segurança e saúde do trabalho. A ergonomia participativa apresenta-se como uma alternativa interessante como solução a esta tendência. O profundo envolvimento do trabalhador no processo, aliado à facilidade de implementação do método, permite que a NR-17 seja cumprida sem maiores dificuldades. O estudo de caso da Braskem UNIB 2 RS, que utiliza a estratégia SOBANE como referência metodológica de implementação da ergonomia participativa, traz elementos que mostram ser possível buscar o bem- estar no ambiente laboral, com manutenção da produtividade.

The search for well-being and productivity go hand, is an inevitable trend in the safety and health at work framework. Participatory ergonomics is presented as an interesting alternative as a solution to this trend. The deep involvement of the worker in the process, combined with the easy implementation of the method, allows the NR-17 is met without difficulty. The case of Braskem UNIB 2 RS, which uses the SOBANE strategy as a methodological reference implementation of participatory ergonomics, brings elements that show it is possible to seek well-being in the workplace, maintaining productivity.
