Abstract

The article aims to call attention to the role of the ergonomist as an essential team member for product and system design to be used by people. The ergonomist is the professional who has the ability to conduct a project where science and application meet. The review of the literature is used to promote a discussion about the synergy between the ergonomist and the project team concerning two aspects: competences and knowledge typologies. This paper develops and characterizes four relationships between the role of the ergonomist and the work of a project team having the concepts of individual competences, collective competences and knowledge typologies. Some propositions of best practices are presented. The main conclusions highlight that the knowledge produced in the work, the technique and the model of man, as well as the competence to examine the real activity (future) are taken as the main attributes of the ergonomist that positively influence the work of project teams.

Resumo

 O artigo tem como objetivo chamar a atenção para o papel do ergonomista como membro essencial da equipe para o design de produtos e sistemas a serem utilizados pelas pessoas. O ergonomista é o profissional que tem capacidade para conduzir um projeto onde ciência e aplicação se encontram. A revisão da literatura é utilizada para promover uma discussão sobre a sinergia entre o ergonomista e a equipe do projeto em dois aspectos: competências e tipologias de conhecimento. Este artigo desenvolve e caracteriza quatro relações entre o papel do ergonomista e o trabalho de uma equipe de projeto tendo os conceitos de competências individuais, competências coletivas e tipologias de conhecimento. Algumas proposições de melhores práticas são apresentadas. As principais conclusões destacam que o conhecimento produzido no trabalho, a técnica e o modelo de homem, bem como a competência para examinar a atividade real (futura) são tidos como os principais atributos do ergonomista que influenciam positivamente o trabalho das equipes de projeto.

Resumen

El artículo pretende llamar la atención sobre el papel del ergonomista como miembro esencial del equipo para el diseño de productos y sistemas a ser utilizados por gente. El ergonomista es el profesional que tiene la capacidad de conducir un proyecto donde la ciencia y la aplicación se encuentran. La revisión de la literatura se utiliza para promover una discusión sobre la sinergia entre ergonomista y el equipo en proyecto en dos aspectos: Habilidades Es tipologías en conocimiento. Éste artículo desarrollar Es caracteriza cuatro relaciones entre oh papel del ergonomista Es oh trabajar en uno equipo en proyecto teniendo tú conceptos de habilidades individuales, habilidades colectivas y tipos de conocimientos. Algunas proposiciones en mejores practicas ellos son presentado. Hacia principal conclusiones resaltar que el conocimiento producido en el trabajo, la técnica y el modelo del hombre, así como como la competencia para examinar la actividad real (futura) se consideran la principal atributos del ergonomista que influyen positivamente en el trabajo de los equipos de proyecto.
